3G Americas and The GSM Association
On November 4, 2002, 3G Americas and the GSM Association announced their collaborative partnership with a Memorandum of Understanding outlining continued cooperation between the two organizations to further the seamless deployment of the GSM family of evolutionary technologies.
3G Americas and the GSM Association will share information while working together for consistency and global interoperability for voice and data services and further the definition and standardization of prioritized requirements with global and regional standards bodies for the deployment of commercial products and services in a timely fashion. Additionally, the two organizations will work collaboratively on a variety of regulatory issues and promotional opportunities.
